What does the Harlem means to me?

It means a lot really

The Harlem is a place of letting go

A place of rebirth, they say

 

They say Harlem is where the blacks 

can be "black" but its than that

 

The Harlem is a special refined and defined 

place for blacks. African-Americans

I say, African- Americans 

Anyone can be me. Anyone can "black"

In Harlem everyone is me

 

Poor, sad, outcast, differentliving

The Harlem is forever my home

The Harlem is me.
