Whispers of change
The snow whispers softly through the night,
The cold wraps around me low, a thick veil.
Snowflakes fall gently, covering earth in white,
A chil creeps in, as Shadows softly sail.
Love feels like ice, distant and hard to hold.
Oh, how love feels like a fire, dying in the dark.
Sadness raps around my heart, in a grip so cold.
How does sadness ligure quietly? It seems to leave it's mark.
Does love wrap around you like a gentle breeze?
The warmth and love, burning with fierce heat,
The heat that burns like fire, scorching your knees?
The fire keeps burning! So fierce and complete!
Now the end arrives quietly, without a sound.
Now, the silent shift, where all things are unbound.
