    Acrostic Poem

    Finally An Adult

    Finals are too much
    I need a vacation or a break
    Never again will I deal with this
    Annoying teachers are gone
    Leaving school alone for now
    Left with a new future
    You know college will be too expensive
    A once in a lifetime birthday
    Not able to drink yet
    And now I can move out
    Don’t trust randos on the street
    Unfortunately, I still can’t drive
    Living with my friends will be easy
    Time to get a tattoo

    A poem that I wrote for anyone in a situation that has ended in heartbreak.

    In love's aftermath, trust fades away,
    A heart scarred, cautious every day.
    Walls rise high, shielding from the pain,
    Yet a flicker of hope still remains.

    Bitter memories linger in the mind,
    Doubtful of intentions, hard to find.
    But with time, healing may take hold,
    Revealing that not all hearts are cold.
